I'm 15 myself and seeing little girls dress up in horrific outfits and make comments on magazine covers or whatever on their blogs just embarrasses me.
If a young person like myself has a blog I would much rather read some honest, young material. They should stop trying to be precocious, because I believe blogs from 14 year old girls should be indispensible for their true and curious insight into fashion - not trying to act like a 30 fashion editor or whatever.

I wrote about these comments on Qlixmag.com blog and actually found his comments hilarious, especially about not caring what a 14 year old thinks. Maybe Chris said these comments to get people talking. Why else would he go after or care what a 14 year old thinks? I mean his not stupid. I believe that bloggers phenomenon it's rather a positive consequence of the internet, since it is the actual democratisation of opinions concerning fashion. Nowadays, every one has the right to express his personal opinion, and make it public thanks to global communication systems such as blogs. It's not impoverishment of the fashion critique, it's rather to give "a nouveau souffle" to it. If he's afraid of the critic, maybe there's a reason behind that...

The great thing about the web is that it really gives one access to as many information sources as she wants.
Fashion should not be a topic discussed only by so called "experts". We have such an easy access to information that it has become quite open source nowadays.
Having said that, I do believe in diversity: a 14 years old is going to have a different opinion about the wearability/originality of a collection than a 40 or a 60 years old person. So, let us let everybody express themselves without preaching for either side!
